As a kid, Chiquitita is playful, innocent, and cheerful, as he is almost always seen with a smile on his face. He has proven to be very dependable when given a task, having been trusted by his father to pilot his spacecraft to put out the forest fire in Byakuja Village and helped to rescue Okarun from being trapped in a magma pit. He was also sensible enough to tell Momo that she did not have to resort to recklessly jumping into the pit to save him.

Much like his father, Chiquitita has the strange habit of saying "deisu" (でいス) after every sentence.

After developing the same illness that his mother had that killed her, Chiquitita was left to be looked after by his father, who took on dangerous jobs to earn

Peeny-Weeny , also referred to as Mantisian possesses the disk-like head of a crab and a bipedal, muscular humanoid body with dull yellow skin. His eyes are shown to alternate between being crab-like to human-like on occasions. While wearing a variety of outfits throughout the series, he sticks to wearing boxing gloves. While in his human disguise, he resembles a middle aged man with a permanently affixed serious expression who wears a hat in the shape of his own head.

Manjiro is a man of average height with black, short messy hair, round eyes with prominent lower eyelashes, and a unibrow. As a shrine priest, his attire is a simple, loose-fitting white robe with a blue hakama.

Manjiro has a desire to become a BooTuber on BooTube, with his initial attempt being to record and post himself performing headstands. Despite finding his job as the priest of the Tsuchinoko Shrine unfulfilling, partially due to it not making any money, he takes on the duty of ensuring that the traditional practices of Byakuja Village for honoring the Tsuchinoko do not resurface. As a Sumerian, Bamora's physical appearance indistinguishably matches with that of a young female Earthling, as her body is completely humanoid with a slender build and has short, lime-green hair . The only unique characteristics that sets her apart are her magenta antennas attached to the top of her head and her green eyes that have star shape corneal reflections. In the anime, her antennae are shown glowing with some form of bioluminescence. She is greatly recognized as being very pretty by the boys around her.

Bamora used her exosuit kaiju suit to replica Momo's school uniform, with the only difference being the kaiju head left unaltered as a hoody or helmet of sorts.

Due to their race being exclusively all male, the Serpo have no way of reproducing naturally and resort to using cloning technology. However, since biological evolution cannot occur within identical beings, the Serpo found this solution to be ineffective and upon realizing the stagnation this had caused in their race, they seek to gain reproductive organs by abducting humans from Earth and stealing their reproductive organs (aka "bananas"). And later on become highly fascinated in spiritual powers and seek to harness their capabilities to progress their evolution.

The Serpo are often seen sporting grey-skinned, outwardly male humanoid disguises. These disguises share a common outfit consisting of white, collared button up shirts tucked into grey dress pants, leather belts, and brown shoes. The heads of the disguises are notable for their thin lips which are drawn into incredibly wide and disconcerting smiles.

Out of their disguises, the Serpo have angular, slug-like heads with large, prominent lips and broad teeth. Their bodies are broad and sharply angled around the shoulders and torso. Black markings cover most of their bodies. They have two fingers and two thumbs in each hand, and their feet are clefted at the ends. Serpo also possess a set of headlight-like crystalline eyes whose color varies between individual Serpo, such as pink, yellow, cyan, red, green, or purple.

The Serpo are forceful and violent towards humans when abducting them but are otherwise oblivious to this, believing that their actions are peaceful. They also prefer to abduct female humans over male humans and have stated that they despise encountering humans that act barbaric (i.e. those who fight back). the Serpo are brunt and cold towards their subordinates

Acrobatic Silky took on the form of an extremely tall woman with grey skin, long limbs and long silky jet-black hair. She had red nail polish both on her fingers and on her toes, and her fingernails were long. She walked around barefooted while wearing a red wide-brimmed hat and a red dress (which resembles the one she bought for her daughter) with the violet collar forming her long neck.

Due to her tragic past of having her child taken from her, Acrobatic Silky was a yokai who had a desperate need to find a child to love and call her "mother". Her main attraction was Aira Shiratori after becoming delusional in thinking that she was her mother during the time she was alive and was obsessed with having her all to herself. Acrobatic Silky's intentions also leaned towards her maternal instincts to protect the one she loves, as she was willing to sacrifice her own aura in order to revive Aira and ripped out her jaw to assure Momo Ayase that she would not try to eat her.

She also took great pride in her acrobatic skills.

The Evil Eye is a large, tall, and lanky male with a bowl haircut, vertical eyes, and a defining evil grin expression. As for attire, the Evil Eye wears nothing but underwear. As a spirit, the Evil Eye appeared the same as when he was alive, albeit with a healthier body. Upon failing to save a boy that was sacrificed by the Kito family, the Evil Eye adopted the boy's characteristics out of anger, thus lending to his current appearance.

When possessing Jiji's body, the Evil Eye causes the young man's hair to turn white, a ripple pattern third eye to appear at the center of his forehead, along with his other eyes changing to become yellow, and a dark marking to reach down his shoulders and frame his face. The possession also has an effect on Jiji's earrings, causing them to lengthen. Initially, the Evil Eye's possession impacted Jiji's wardrobe, leading to the destruction of all his clothes except for his underwear

The Evil Eye is known to possess the curse ability to force people into committing suicide with its evil gaze.

Along with cursing humans with its gaze, the Evil Eye can also choose to share his memories with others after making eye contact with them, as he had Jiji look into his past.

Though details about the facility is left vague throughout the series, what can be said so far is that, unbeknownst to most students and faculty, it also houses a large number of spirits. Okarun is a teenager of short height and slender build with black hair brown eyes and he wears round-frame glasses. Though he was initially very skinny, Okarun has gained toned muscles as a result of his dedication to strength training and the numerous battles he faced dealing with spirits and aliens.

Okarun is a self-described socially awkward individual who has a consuming interest for the paranormal with his main focus being the existence of aliens and cryptids. This interest goes all the way back to his childhood where he tried to make contact with aliens in a desperate attempt to make friends, having grown up without a single one in his life due to constant bullying. As a result, Okarun developed an inferiority complex where he believes that he is incapable of fitting in with others or that people are better off not associating with him. Okarun's real problem with making friends was that he was too quick to make assumptions about others judging him, which resulted in him subconsciously keeping others at arm's length.

Okarun is an altruistic person who believes that it is only right to help others when they are in trouble

he is fiercely loyal and protective as he will not allow others to get away with harming those whom he has formed a bond with

When using Turbo Granny's power, Okarun's personality would take a dramatic shift. Normally shrill and antsy but strong-willed, Okarun, in his transformed state, would become lethargic and melancholic, often making pessimistic remarks about being tired and life not mattering

Momo comes off as a bold, confident, and fierce young girl, as there have hardly been instances where she is intimidated by others. She carries a no-nonsense attitude and often loses her temper when angered, mainly when being slighted or having to deal with the shenanigans of her friends and allies. She is prone to lashing out violently in a comedic fashion at the person responsible for invoking her wrath, however, if realizing her outbursts have gone too far, she will show remorse. In addition, she is also susceptible to making insults At the same time, Momo is kind, friendly, and cheerful around others. Nessie is a red handle metal bat with the words "Power of Nessie" (ネッシーの力, Nesshī no Chikara?) inscribed. Additionally, the bat is equipped with a retractable pencil tip that Seiko utilizes for her barrier magic.

Seiko utilizes this bat for melee attacks. As demonstrated during a training session with Momo, Seiko can apply the Power of Words to her weapon to enhance her strength and amplifying the impact of her swings, which allowed her to propel a sandbag through the air with a single strike.

Using the retractable pencil installed into the bat, Seiko can use her charm nails to form an evil spirit-warding barrier by drawing circles on the ground; either to protect herself from yokai that attempt to approach her or to trap them. When opting for the latter, Seiko creates a compact barrier around the yokai and swings her bat to execute unrelenting strikes that are difficult for her opponent to dodge, with each blow also resulting in the trapped yokai being knocked out of the barrier's perimeter and triggering its ignition as a form of punishment.

Seiko's signature and sole use of the Power of Words in which she shouts out the "Nessie" to enhance her physical strength. She mainly employs this technique to increase the swinging power of her bat (or any slender blunt object) to knock back her target with great force.

She is a well-known spirit medium who also goes by the name Santa Dodoria and is the grandmother of Momo Ayase.

Despite being a grandmother, Seiko has the appearance of a slender woman in her prime. She possesses long, snow-white hair that she generally ties up in a large top knot, wears red, rectangular glasses. She is a chain smoker, almost always seen smoking her cigarette. On top of her youthful appearance, Seiko has been noted for her beauty that she claims others might go so far as to describe her as being bewitching. Due to this, many have mistaken her to be Momo's mother

Seiko is a tough, blunt, and sometimes immature spirit medium who genuinely cares about helping others. She believes people should support one another and often provides shelter and assistance to those in need. Rather than accepting repayment for her kindness, she encourages others to pay it forward by helping people who are struggling.

Although compassionate and willing to carry others’ burdens, Seiko is too proud to ask for help herself. She can be teasing and childish, especially when joking about Momo’s feelings for Okarun, but she is capable of being polite and sincere when she feels she has made a mistake. She secretly enjoys praise, particularly compliments about her youthful appearance.

As a spirit medium, Seiko respects the dead and believes in maintaining balance between the living and spirits, only using force when spirits threaten people. She loves cooking and sees food as essential to life, taking great joy in feeding others and disliking picky eaters.

Ironically, despite firmly believing in ghosts and spirits, Seiko is skeptical of aliens and UFOs, often dismissing evidence of them. Outside of her spiritual work, one of her greatest pleasures is simply watching television.
