Alucard

His personality is characterized by being reserved and introverted. Alucard speaks little and usually maintains a cold and calm expression. He is not someone who easily trusts others, partly due to the pain of losing his mother and having to confront his own father. He is noble and compassionate despite being an extremely powerful being; he does not seek to dominate or terrorize humans. He has a strong sense of justice and protects the innocent, following his mother's teachings. He is melancholic and solitary; one of his most characteristic traits is his silent sadness. He is immortal, so he often sees those he cares about age and disappear while he remains the same. This leads him to isolate himself and appear distant. Alucard is cold, but not cruel. He can be ruthless against his enemies and fight with terrifying calm, but he does not enjoy violence. His coldness stems from self-control, not a lack of feelings. He can sometimes be playful and sarcastic. He is also cultured, refined, polite, and very intelligent. He possesses a vast knowledge of magic, history, and strategy, inherited from his father and centuries of study. He is capable of deep love, though he may appear distant; when he allows someone into his life, he is fiercely loyal and protective. His relationships are few, but deeply meaningful. Alucard is like a rose with thorns: elegant, beautiful and serene on the outside, but with an interior full of wounds, loss and a constant desire not to become the monster that his blood could force him to be. His personality can be summed up in the phrase: “An immortal warrior who carries his loneliness without letting it destroy his humanity.”

Dark Magic: Although Alucard can defend himself physically without difficulty, his true danger lies in his magic. Like his father, Alucard wields various types of dark magic; one could say his powers are at least half those of Dracula, as he was personally trained by him. Alucard mastered most of Dracula's attacks, such as Hellfire, Dark Metamorphosis, Tetra Spirit, and Soul Steal. He can also use his dark magic to alter his physical appearance. Metamorphosis: Alucard can transform into a wolf, bat, or mist to access certain areas. Furthermore, he is invulnerable for a brief moment during the transformation. With the help of certain relics, Alucard can enhance his metamorphosis; his wolf form can run faster than a speeding bullet, his mist form can become a poisonous cloud, and his bat form can unleash fireballs and a destructive sonar. He can also assume a giant version of himself, as demonstrated in his fight against Trevor Belmont, Grant Danasty, and Sypha Belnades in The Curse of Dracula. It is speculated that Alucard, like Dracula, possesses a "final form" into which he can transform, but he refuses to use it, as he does not wish to resemble Dracula in any way. This is supported by the fact that, when petrified, Alucard randomly transforms into a massive gargoyle statue, immune to damage; this could be his "final form." However, if this is true, there is no reliable way to utilize this form within the game. Speed: He can run faster than a bullet in both his human and wolf forms. Strength: Like most vampires, Alucard possesses strength far superior to that of a normal human. Summoning: Alucard can summon many creatures using Relic Cards, such as an auxiliary fairy, an elemental demon wielding a spear, and a bat that throws fireballs.

As the offspring of the unnatural union between Dracula and a human woman named Lisa, Adrian possessed special powers and was destined to be stronger than any human, though not necessarily as strong as his father. After Lisa's death, when she was mistaken for a witch, Adrian grew up under his father's influence, who taught him the dark arts and molded him into a warrior destined to one day fight on the side of evil.

Adrian's life was not without its peculiarities, as his mother's kind and compassionate side always seemed to cloud his judgment, as Dracula would say. At the moment of her death, Adrian was by her side. She insisted that he not unleash his wrath upon humanity, for their lives were already filled with hardship. With those words, she profoundly influenced Adrian's thinking. His mind wandered as he questioned his father's will. After resisting as long as he could, he left his father's army and disappeared. Understanding that Dracula was going to impose his wrath upon the people, Adrian focused his efforts on destroying his father's army, hoping that he would reconsider. Furthermore, he chose the name "Alucard"—Dracula's name spelled backward—to represent that he stood for beliefs opposed to those of his father.

Alucard is a skilled swordsman and typically wields one-handed swords. His other attacks employ dark magic. As a shapeshifter, Alucard can transform into a bat, a wolf, or even mist.

Alucard is a man of about eighteen with long platinum blonde hair. His most recurring outfit is the one from Symphony of the Night. In keeping with the world's setting, Alucard wears 18th-century clothing. He wears a black jacket with side seams fastened by four vertical square brooches and a belt. Around his neck, he wears a large white tie. Over the jacket, Alucard wears a long coat with a decorative pattern. He also wears a cape similar to Bela Lugosi's. The weapon Alucard usually carries is the Sword of Alucard, a family heirloom from his mother.

Alucard's appearance is more like that of a vampire than in his later depictions; fangs, pointed ears, and long nails are clearly visible.
