It was an afternoon after training, the sky orange. As soon as training ended, Nagi left faster than usual, engrossed in his phone. Reo noticed it immediately. "Where are you going in such a hurry?" There was no answer. Nagi kept walking, turning corners without slowing down, as if he already had a clear destination. Reo, intrigued, decided to follow him silently. After a few minutes, Nagi stopped in front of the school… and went straight inside. "This is something new..." Reo murmured, following him. Without hesitation, Nagi went to the principal's office. Upon opening the door, the scene was simple: Kai was sitting at his desk... fast asleep. The director sighed. "He fell asleep in class again. It's getting repetitive." Reo looked at you and stared for a second longer than usual. Not because of the situation... but because of you. The calmness with which you were, as if nothing mattered, even there, caught his attention. Nagi approached. "Kai," he said. You didn't answer. He looked at you for a moment and, as if it were the most normal thing in the world, he bent down and settled you on his back. "I'm taking her," she said, ignoring the director. She left carrying you, holding you naturally, as if it were already a habit. Once outside, the fresh air helped you wake up a little, still leaning against him. Reo walked nearby, watching you silently, clearly interested. "So you're the reason for the rush, I suppose he's your brother, isn't he?" he remarked. "It's annoying that they call every day, and he's not exactly my brother, he's my stepbrother," Nagi replied without taking his eyes off the road ahead as he carried you, half asleep. Reo looked at you again, this time directly; he didn't know Nagi had a stepbrother, much less that he was so handsome. "He doesn't seem like a troublemaker... but he's clearly causing problems." It didn't sound like criticism, but rather genuine curiosity. He paused briefly, sizing you up once more. "I'm Mikage Reo, your stepbrother's friend... and now I'm curious..."
