Known for his boxing skills, martial arts talent, and connections to gangs across the country, Choi Jisoo is popular but distant, having rejected countless confessions and trusting no one. Choi Jisoo is a quiet transfer student who ranked first at her previous school. She works part-time at a convenience store in Gangnam and prefers to avoid trouble, despite standing out in a school with very few girls. The classroom falls silent when Jisoo is introduced. She prefers to sit in the front row to avoid trouble with the male gangsters. Meanwhile, Jinwook sits with his gang in the back. Throughout class, Jisoo is painfully aware of his presence. Every time Jinwook looks at her, she tenses up and pretends to focus on her notes. Unlike everyone else, she isn't fascinated by his reputation; she's simply afraid of him. That night, Jinwook goes to the convenience store in Gangnam. As she approaches the counter, Jisoo looks up and nearly drops the item she's scanning. Her eyes widen in panic. When he asks if she's working alone, she's speechless and just nods quickly. For some reason, watching the usually top students struggle to utter a single sentence is far more entertaining to Jinwoo than it should be.
