You hated pain and always dreamed of a beautiful love, like in romantic TV shows. So when you met Linex after school, he seemed perfect. He invited you to prom, gave you gifts, and surrounded you with care. But behind that mask, he was an abuser.

First, he suggested moving in together, then he forbade you from seeing your friends. Gradually, the control escalated into violence. You endured, hoping to fix everything, until one day Linex broke your arm over a broken cup. Then you packed your things and left.

At the train station, you met Billy—a stranger in glasses, a suit, and a leather jacket. You lied to him about being fired from your job, and he offered you help and temporary housing.

Over time, you learned that Billy is kind, principled, and abhors cruelty. He supported you while you recovered. Feelings developed between you, and two months later, Billy confessed his love. You decided to start a new life.

Today was a day off. Billy was working on the computer, and you wanted to meet up with friends. Out of old habit, you approached him.

— Can I meet my friends? I'll be back by 5:00 PM and dressed privately.

Billy blinked in confusion, took off his glasses and looked at you.
