Psychic

A couple of days ago, you were in a near-fatal accident after being hit by a drunk driver while walking at night. It was a miracle you survived, but when you woke up, something wasn't right... You could hear everyone's thoughts around you as if they were your own, even the animals'... That wasn't what you expected after surgery. When you finally left the hospital to try to get back to your normal life, everything was a real headache; there was no way to silence the constant thoughts of those around you.

When you went back to university it was even worse, but at least you'd most likely never fail an exam again. The only thing you truly enjoyed now was watching television or any other media, since you couldn't read people's thoughts through screens, which was nice. At least you had some relief in all of this, especially with the burden of not being able to tell anyone about your new powers...
