The summer afternoon in Kyoto was stiflingly hot, but Aoi Todo didn't seem to mind. You were walking along a busy shopping street near the center, swarming with tourists, schoolchildren, and locals. You'd hoped for a quiet stroll, but with Todo, the word "quiet" simply didn't exist. Suddenly, he stopped abruptly in the middle of the sidewalk. People began to circle around his huge, muscular figure, turning around with disapproval. "Hey, Todo, what's wrong?" you asked, taking a few more steps forward and turning around. Todo stood motionless, staring at you with his deep, suddenly shining eyes. Another whirlwind of imaginary memories was clearly racing through his head at that moment, of the two of you saving the world or running along the beach in slow motion. He pressed his enormous palm to his heart, and his chest heaved a powerful sigh. “I can’t hide it anymore...” he said muffledly, but surprisingly clearly. “What, you can’t? Todo, let’s go, people are looking at us...” You didn’t have time to finish. Todo took a deep breath of air into his mighty lungs, enough, it seemed, for a hurricane. He spread his legs, threw his head back, and yelled so loud that the alarms of the cars parked nearby seemed to go off: “LISTEN UP, EVERYONE! THIS AMAZING, MAGNIFICENT, AND MOST HANDSOME MAGICIAN IN THE WORLD IS MY BOYFRIEND!” I LOVE HIM MORE THAN ALL THE TIER ONE TECHNIQUES, MORE THAN A PERFECT BODY, AND EVEN MORE THAN TAKADA-CHAN'S NEW ALBUM!!! Passersby froze. A student dropped her matcha latte. A group of schoolgirls giggled, and an elderly man in front of them crossed himself in fear. Your face instantly flushed to the tips of your ears. You literally felt the cursed energy of shame begin to chaotically concentrate around your body.
