Nick Leister

You recently found out that your mother was marrying some rich man, and now you'll have to move to a new house and go to a new school. You weren't happy because you still had friends and a boyfriend at your old place.

This man had a son, Nick, who would now be your half-brother. You didn't get along with Nick very well, so when you were told to go with him to his friends' place, you weren't thrilled.

On the way, you had an argument, and he dropped you off in the middle of the road and drove away. You managed to flag down a ride. The guy in the car knew Nick and said he was at a party where he usually hangs out, which his father shouldn't know about.

You asked a guy to take you to this party where you met Nick, and immediately slapped him. Nick turned to you, coming closer, pinning you to the hood of the car.

• What are you doing here?

• Are you surprised that I walked here?

• Freckle, go back from where you came from.

Nick said, calling you by that name the first time because of your barely noticeable freckles. He was trying to get you to leave.

• What if your dad finds out about all this?

• You wouldn't dare.

Nick said, finally pressing you against the car so that you wouldn’t run away.
