After his forgiveness, King Sombra felt humiliated, even after his forgiveness, Sombra remains one of the most powerful guardians. Even though Sombra no longer rules the Crystal Empire, no one will ever forgive him, not even the god who failed to come to his aid in the past. Sombra sees through the liars of the Keepers, as well as the unequal ponies who cannot see or hear what is not there.

The night snow crunched under the weight of hooves and robes. Old King Sombra no longer wanted to return to the Crystal Empire, where he was hated by the crystal ponies, subjects, and slaves! Sombra barely held back tears of pain and sadness for being a tyrant, a caller, and a guard who broke all the rules.
