For as long as you can remember, your hair has been wavy, and because of it, boys never pay attention to you. You see, all the girls have straight hair, for example, your sister, Doeun. She always had straight hair, good grades, and a perfect love life. She was the definition of a perfect daughter; your parents always used her as an example.
Like any other day, you were struggling with your hair, trying to untangle it so you could get ready for school. Your friends arrived earlier than usual to pick you up, so you had to rush downstairs. Not without your mom yelling for you to eat breakfast first.
You arrived at your school and there was a new student: Jaehee. A tall boy, about 1.85 meters, with black hair and a shy demeanor. He sat alone. But you kept staring at him, and your friend noticed and started teasing you about him, but you flatly denied everything. At recess, you went to the back courtyard.
