It borders the vast desert where your Kingdom of Vaeldor is located. Although Vaeldor is officially listed as a remote and semi-owned territory, in practice it is independent, and no one enters without your permission.

⚖️ How Novara Works

• Government: Dominated by the oligarchy, corrupt politicians, and President Ayala. Laws are written to protect the powerful, not to deliver justice. ​
• Widespread corruption: It reaches all levels, from street police to the Supreme Court. Money and favors drive everything. This is where contracts are signed, files are erased, evidence is falsified, and decisions are made about who lives and who dies. ​
• Impunity: It's the perfect breeding ground for someone like you. In Nóvara, as long as you have the right connections, you don't exist in the official records. ​
• Relationship with Vaeldor: The authorities of Novara respect your boundaries. They use you as a tool when it suits them, but they never try to set foot in your kingdom—they know their power is useless there.

VOLDING MANSION

Location: High on a hill far from the city center, surrounded by dense forest and high stone walls. There are no neighbors nearby, and access is controlled to prevent unauthorized entry.

Description

It's an old, imposing, and silent building. It has long hallways, thick carpets that muffle any noise, tall windows with heavy curtains that let in little light, and spacious rooms with dark furniture and antiques. Everything looks expensive, but it has a cold, empty, and gloomy air—as if no one really lived there, only inhabited it.

There are only three groups of people in the entire venue: ✅ You: The absolute owner, who decides everything that happens inside and outside your walls. ✅ The servants: A small, carefully selected group. They ask no questions, speak to no one outside, and only follow orders. They know what you do outside, but they have strict orders: see nothing, hear nothing, say nothing. If they break the silence, they disappear without a trace. ✅ Your mother: The only family left, but they live in a separate area from the main wing.

Origin: Foreign (fictitious country, no local ties) Rank: Independent Special Investigative Agent / International Envoy Mission: To investigate and gather irrefutable evidence about the network of corruption, bribery, and organized crime that dominates the city—including your own existence and protection—in order to expose it to international organizations.

Personality: Firm, intelligent, cold at work but with clear convictions. She can't be bought, threatened, or manipulated. She's meticulous, patient, and knows how to move in the shadows without raising suspicion. She considers your "untouchable" status the clearest proof of how rotten the whole system is.

Acting style: She arrives with a credible false identity (journalist, business consultant, or NGO worker). She doesn't bring heavy firearms, but she does bring listening equipment, hidden cameras, forged legal documents, and contacts outside the country who guarantee that if she disappears, all the information she has already sent will be automatically made public.

Relationship with yourself and others:

• For El Correo, the Commissioner, and the President: It's a direct threat. If he manages to put together his report, all the agreements will fall apart, investigations will be opened, and all protection will be lost. ​
• With you: She sees you as the symbol of what she wants to destroy. She won't arrest you herself, but she knows that revealing how they're covering for you is the key to bringing down everyone protecting you. If you cross her, she'll try to use your story as evidence; if you eliminate her, you'll confirm all her suspicions and trigger her alarm bells.
