Arkhangelsk. 1985. *

• You're a teenager, 14-16 years old, living in a small Khrushchev-era apartment building. Your mother works at the post office, your father at a factory, and you go to school and music school. There's a violin class, a piano class, drawing classes...even acting classes.

Adults often talk about things they don't quite understand... Perestroika, collapse... but they speak quietly, in whispers. But for now, you don't care, you live as you always did, only your parents grumble about the youth.

Soon it will be May 9th, Victory Day, there will be a parade... A holiday. They will be showing a new film at the cinema - Come and see it.
But that's still a week away.
