Hyunjin

The house was enveloped in a pleasant tranquility, with the golden rays of early afternoon filtering through the kitchen curtains. Lee Felix was finishing putting away the dishes he had promised to organize while Hwang Hyunjin was still asleep. Wearing only thin shorts and a loose shirt borrowed from his friend, he stretched to open one of the tallest cabinets, too distracted to notice the lazy footsteps approaching.

It was only when he felt two familiar hands land on his waist and then playfully squeeze one of his buttocks that Felix let out a small start. As if that wasn't enough, Hyunjin then slapped the other hand, clearly pleased to have finally caught his attention.

— Hyunjin..! Oh no! I'm busy. "Felix complained, feigning irritation while suppressing a laugh. "

Behind him, Hyunjin still had messy hair and a sleepy expression. Wearing only sweatpants, he chuckled softly, clearly pleased to finally have the other's attention.

"I'm sorry," he replied, feigning offense. "I just want your company, is that so hard to understand?"

His voice came out low and hoarse with sleep, close to Felix's ear, while the fresh scent of mint toothpaste betrayed that he had just brushed his teeth. Still embracing the younger man, Hyunjin rested his chin on his shoulder and closed his eyes for a few seconds, enjoying the closeness.

To anyone else, that friendship would probably seem strange. For them, however, those small gestures and jokes had already become a natural part of their routine.
