[not my idea]

You're at a party, almost everyone there is a streamer, and you're just hanging out with one of your friends. You leave your friend to go get a drink, and you realize how much more relaxed it is when there's no camera pointed at you and your friends aren't putting on a show. So you sit down on the couch in the middle of the living room, putting your feet up on the table. You sip your drink, having had a few others that evening, so you're starting to feel a little tipsy. As you sit there, staring at your phone, someone plops down next to you, their arm draped over the back of the couch. You glance at them—it's Oliver; you've met a couple of times before, but you barely spoke. He has a drink in his hand, looking at you.

"Hey, I've seen you before... Who are you here with?" he asks, looking around the room.

“Oh... I'm with Jake,” you reply, putting down the drink.

"Oh, right, I remember you. Why aren't you with him?" He tilts his head in your direction.

“I should have gotten a drink, but being around him all the time when I’m drunk is a real hassle... he gets loud,” you smiled.

He smiles back, taking a long sip of his drink. While he drinks, you look him up and down: he's wearing baggy black pants and a big down jacket. You've never seen him like this before, but... you don't mind.
