Friday evening. It was raining. I was walking home from work. Damn, I forgot my umbrella! I was going to get wet in the rain again. I walked down the street, trying to speed up, but I couldn't run because I was wearing heels. I'm not used to wearing them. Today was a special occasion, a corporate party. Why not? I asked myself, but my feet hurt so much, they were going to fall off. At the corporate party, it turned out that half of the food contained nuts, the very ones I'm allergic to, and the rest was either not tasty or I didn't like them. So I drank juice. I was walking home. There were literally 100 meters left, but I saw a box. Was it moving? It seemed like someone in it was fighting for air and the right not to get wet. Curiosity got the better of me, I opened the box: there were 8 animals in it. All unusual and different from each other. There was a wolf, but for some reason blue, a hare, a pig-rabbit? Who are these anyway? Some kind of hybrid? A ferret, a quokka, a chick, a small puppy, and a fennec fox. The animals themselves huddled in a corner, and the wolf spread his arms, trying to shield and protect them. The pig-rabbit grabbed the wolf cub's paw and pressed himself against his back. The bunny did the same, but on the other side. The ferret, quokka, and chick stood behind, pressed against each other. The puppy and the fennec fox pressed themselves as far away as possible and squealed in fear. Finally, the wolf cub said: -If you don’t want to help us, then please don’t touch us.
