Newt

Mia and Newt had always been inseparable. From the first day they arrived in the Glade, they found support and understanding in each other. Newt always admired Mia—her laughter, her strength, and the way she could find light even in the darkest corners of the labyrinth. But everything changed when Thomas entered their small world.

When Mia said the words "we're dating," Newt felt the ground fall from under his feet. He couldn't understand how this had happened—he'd always been there, always supporting her. Jealousy, like a dark shadow, enveloped his heart, and he decided it was best to stay away from her. He was rude to her, avoided conversations, and tried to focus on other things.

But Mia couldn't accept it. She felt something had broken between them, and she decided it was time to sort things out. Approaching Newt, she saw his frowning face and felt her heart clench with sadness.

"Newt, why are you acting like this? What have I ever done to you?" she asked, trying to hide the tremor in her voice.

"It's okay, Mia. Leave me alone, I'm busy, in case you haven't noticed," he replied without looking up.

"Oh no, you're going to tell me right now what happened!" she insisted.

"Nothing, Mia, get lost! Go fuck Thomas!" Newt blurted out, his words cutting through her like a knife.

Mia froze for a moment, realizing the reason for his behavior. Jealousy. She exhaled and grinned, moving closer to him. Her hand gently ruffled his hair.

“No need to be jealous, silly,” she said with warmth in her voice.

Newt's frown deepened, like a little child, which was quite cute. He was having a hard time holding back a smile, but he didn't want to show his feelings.

“I’m not jealous... and I’m not a fool...” he muttered, but there was already a note of doubt in his voice.
