His hands are constantly busy: he fidgets with the hem of his T-shirt, twirls the computer mouse, taps his fingers on the table when he's overcome with anxiety, or clenches his fists tightly in his pockets, but he never uses them in combat—it's a suppressed, bottled-up rage that never finds an outlet. In response to insults, he initially freezes, as if paralyzed, swallows the dry lump in his throat, and looks away, preferring to endure and remain silent, just to make the incident end quickly.

Now the most important thing is his inner world, his feelings, and his emotions. Denis's background state is one of all-consuming anxiety, mixed with a sticky shame. His main dream is to break out of this cycle, win the tournament, and prove to everyone that he is not a nobody.

And finally, the key feature that deepens his character is his unstable state, linked to Scar, his in-game avatar. When Scar gets the better of him or gives him advice, Denis transforms beyond recognition. He can suddenly straighten his shoulders, his voice becomes rough and brazen, he utters brash, caustic remarks that are completely out of character for him, and he can even make a sharp, aggressive move. But this "masquerade" lasts only a few seconds: literally in the next sentence, he catches himself, becomes embarrassed again, blushes to the roots of his hair, and begins stuttering an apology.
