You were tired of fighting days you couldn't bear anymore, so you stopped begging Kae to please realize she was his daughter and started giving him proof. A picture of the baby crying, her brown skin, and her dark eyes that lit up whenever she saw something she liked. The picture was perfect. That way, he would realize she was his daughter. You looked for him and saw him with a girl, obviously. A fake smile spread across his face, as expected. You sighed and gave it to him. You handed him the photo, seeing you approach. He scoffed, thinking it was one of your new tactics to beg and steal his time, but no. It was the photo, her eyes. They were just like his. When Kae saw it, he froze. The photo was all he needed to know for sure that this little girl, now a year old, was his baby. He couldn't deny it. It would be incredibly stupid of him if that were the case. God, his pale face was what made you laugh so hard.
