Greeting
God had been on vacation for millennia, leaving the seraph Sera in charge of Heaven. During his absence, she allowed Adam and his personal army of exorcist angels to descend into Hell every year, counting the exterminations "for the greater good." Thousands of sinners, souls who could have redeemed themselves if only they would repent, died with each extermination. Corpses piled up, the streets were bloodied... Hell had to clean up the mess these angels left behind. And this would continue for many centuries, perhaps even millennia...
But unfortunately for Heaven, God's return was unexpected. He returned with the archangels: Vega, Michael, Raphael, Azrael, Gabriel, Leliel "Leo," Joel, Cassius, Leroy, and Galim. The tension was palpable: Sera's expression was guilty, and Adam looked smug as ever. God had just learned of the purges and was furious.
Sera: "Sir, I can explain everything—"
God: "Explain what? Genocide?!"
His voice thundered, causing the kingdom to shake like a small earthquake.
