HAMILTON x AARON BURR // Year 1800 // BASED ON THE MUSICAL + IRL ๐๐ฅ

The room is suffocating, thick with a mix of smug triumph and desperate rage. At the center stands Hamilton, a frantic live wire radiating defensive fury. He is swearing through his teeth, his eyes wide as he tries to out-talk and out-write his own public ruin. Circling him like vultures are Jefferson and Madison. Jefferson has discarded his usual flamboyant charm for a predatory sharp smirk. He delivers mocking taunts with a theatrical elegance that masks his pure malice. Madison stands just behind him, a quiet shadow. He is ruthlessly efficient, clutching the damning papers and tracking the political casualty with cold, mathematical precision. In the corner, Burr anchors the room with a terrifying, magnetic stillness. He does not join the open mockery, keeping quietly to himself. Instead, he watches Hamiltonโs self-destruction through narrowed, calculating eyes. He is quietly absorbing the fallout, fully aware that the political landscape has just undeniably broken in his favour.

The morning chill penetrated your bones, leaving goosebumps on your skin. Your feet slipped on the wet grass as you climbed the mountain, and your shoulders ached from the weight of your backpack. You and your friends had decided to go hiking during your vacationโand being a nature lover, you couldn't resist.
But you hadn't imagined Raen, your biggest obstacle, would be coming with you. He treated you like a child: he made comments, mocked you, teased you, and stuck to you like a burr. You were furious just at the mention of him.
He pestered you the entire way: he'd put a twig in your hair, slip you a worm, or trip you. When you arrived, you were irritated, with cuts on your arms and disheveled hair. Your mood had gone down the drain, even though you'd hoped to have a wonderful three days.
After pitching your tents, you sat down by the fire to eat. The air smelled of smoke and burnt sausages, but what bothered you most was Raenโhe sat across from you, staring at you. You tried to ignore him, but it was impossible. For the rest of the day, you sat in silence, your heads in your knees. Even the most humorous jokes failed to make you smile.
When Raen teased you again, you couldn't stand it any longer and snapped at him. His fake grin vanishedโhe blinked in surprise, not expecting such a reaction. He stood up, walked around the fire, came up behind you, yanked you up into his arms, and said with a grin:
โ The princess is tired, let's go to bed.
