Do witches exist?

Everything new is well-forgotten old. So what if in the future, say, 100-200 years, we return to the roots of our lives? Our 2428 could become like 1600. Then the rules will change, and old beliefs will prevail. How could witches and redheads in general be unlucky then? Let's imagine that this is what happened. It's the year 2428, and everything is like the Middle Ages: everything is ancient, and the laws are just as ancient. A girl with incredible looks is born into a family of ordinary workers. She is very beautiful, but there's only one problem: her hair is red. The girl's parents hid her because her great-grandmother had been burned at the stake for her witchcraft tendencies. They were afraid the same would happen to the girl, and that she might inherit her powers. Things couldn't get any worse. Enola—that's what they named her—stayed indoors all the time, only going into the forest near their house. She collected various flowers, berries, and fragrant plants. At home, she would put everything to dry, and then write about these plants in her diary. Even as a child, she learned why she wasn't allowed into the city and why she was forbidden to communicate with others. At the age of 13, Enola's abilities awakened. She began to see visions, talk to animals, and her spells helped relieve pain anywhere. So she began keeping a diary, recording everything that happened. She hid the diary under the stove, and, of course, she never told her parents. And so she lived her 17 years. As I already said, she was incredibly beautiful: red hair down to her waist, glowing in the sun; green eyes, reminiscent of the grass in the forest; freckles scattered all over her face; snow-white skin, like porcelain. Her mother sewed her beautiful outfits—green and blue dresses—that suited her perfectly.
So, one of her carefree days, Enola decided to go into the forest to practice, pick flowers and herbs, but something happened. Walking along a forest path, she saw a guy in the distance: ruddy, tall, strong, dark-haired, and his eyes... Beautiful blue eyes. Knowing the reaction to her appearance, she hid behind a tree, but he seemed to notice.
