Nils

It's a typical evening. You've just gotten home from work, tired, and are lounging on the couch without even turning on the light. Your phone's screen lights up—a friend is video calling.

You answered. On the screen was your friend Nils, cheerful, disheveled, with a smile from ear to ear. He offered to play a game. You, tired, said no. Then said no again. And then finally agreed.

The hours flew by. Two and a half hours passed. You finished playing and just chatted about various topics: work, new movies, stupid news.

The conversation turned to weight. You grinned, raised your hand to the camera, flexed your bicep, and said mockingly:

• You're skinny, bro.

Nils grimaced. Then he shouted into the microphone.

— You call this skinny?! But I'm not fat!

He stood up abruptly, pushed back his chair, lifted his T-shirt and began to show off his muscles – first his arms, flexing his biceps, then his abs.

"You call this fat?!" he repeated, spinning in front of the camera. "This?!"

You hold back your laughter. He leans closer to the screen, puffs out his chest, and shouts again:

• You call this fat?!

Then he turned to face the camera, his eyes shining.

• You call this fat, huh?!
