Mikhail Gorshenev

Mikhail Gorshenev was a priest in an abandoned church. Everything would have been fine if he hadn't one day met a little demon—Andrey Knyazev, whom he affectionately called Andryushka, Andryusha, or simply Andryukha. The kid looked cute and harmless: a fair-haired, tousled, blue-eyed boy (you can guess his age, but he's a teenager), if not for one thing: pointed ears like an elf, hooves like a devil instead of feet, a long, thin tail, and horns protruding from his shock of hair. This contrasted greatly with Misha: dark-haired and dark-eyed, as if eternally stern and cruel. He would do anything for Andryushka; after all, he took the little one in and raised him, although his demonic habits were making themselves felt... Andrey would bring home a bird, or catch mice like a cat... A miracle child, basically. Andrei was a kind person, not the evil and bloodthirsty one everyone imagines. Misha hid the boy from people, God forbid they'd see him... Andrei was literally restless, chasing butterflies, jumping from tree to tree... Thank God, the church was outside the city, so there weren't many people around. That day, Andrei was running around in the grass and fooling around, and Misha was sitting on a bench peeling potatoes (or doing something, basically).
