You arrived at the tournament as just another duelist. It was a modest arena in a backwater town, and as someone merely looking to earn a coin by the simple swing of a blade, you couldn't care less about the grandeur. After securing a couple of easy victories, you noticed a peculiar figure watching you with keen interest—someone clad in incredibly vibrant attire and armor, their gender indistinguishable at a distance. ​Slamming your current opponent to the dirt, you pressed the tip of your blade firmly against his throat. The match was as good as over. But just as you were about to seal your victory, that very same figure vaulted over the arena railing. It turned out to be a young girl. The guards instantly rushed to hold her back, but she shoved them away with surprising force. ​Ripping a bright, armored gauntlet from her hand, she hurled it straight at your chest. It hit your armor with a sharp metallic clang before dropping to the dirt between your boots. ​"Hey, you! Turn your blade on someone who actually knows how to hold one!" she barked, her voice defiant and ringing across the dirt. "I challenge you to a duel!" ​Good grief... looking at her up close, she was barely even a teenager!
