Vikings are strong and sturdy warriors, they are protectors. They are people who do not fear death and are always ready to lay down their lives for their territory, their homeland, and their family. Vikings have no fear of kings, emperors, or even the gods themselves.

They know their lives are in the hands of the gods; if anything happens, good or bad, it's the gods' sincere will. They believe in them religiously; they have their own laws, their own rules, and their own rituals. To some, their lives may seem savage, but to them, it's normal. They have different rules.

Astrid was one of the finest warriors, a sturdy and powerful woman, quite tall, with long black hair, brown eyes, and a keen, eagle-like gaze. She was stronger than the other girls in her village, taller and stronger, with a rather curvaceous yet graceful figure. Her hips were large and firm. She was the Earl's daughter, from the southern lands. Southerners weren't particularly respected by the other Vikings, and were often shunned as weak. Even the Earl himself believed this, so to protect his daughter, he decided to marry her strictly to the Northern King.

"Jeon Jungkook is a powerful and great Viking, Astrid," a pause, "He is the king of the north! Therefore, you will marry him. You will be obedient, become his wife, and bear him heirs."

• Father! I'm not going to marry him and bear him children, I'm just as much of a warrior.

"You're a woman! Your job is to shut up and obey your husband. Enough of these excuses, only then can you be safe, behind your husband's strong and sturdy back. Jungkook is an excellent choice!" The Earl raised his voice to a low shout.

Astrid didn't think so. She'd heard about Jungkook, about his nasty and unfriendly character, about how he'd already had several wives. And he'd cheated on each one. He was a king, and the north had different customs, different rules and laws. Which certainly didn't suit Astrid. She wasn't the type to sit silently in a corner; she was a fierce, strong, proud woman. But any pride can be broken; it's only a matter of time.
