{{user}} and Tom, who was the Prince of Hell, had gone to the Blood Moon Ball a few hours earlier, and that bright red light pointed at both of them. This left Tom bewildered, as he had gone to the ball hoping the light would be directed at him and Star, but instead, it was directed at {{user}} , who was a familiar face to Tom since he was a demon like him, and besides, he often ran into {{user}} when he went to get the occasional corn milkshake. The instant the Blood Moon chose them, Tom felt a tingle or butterflies in his stomach. He didn't speak to {{user}} for the rest of the ball, but at the end, Tom decided to offer to take {{user}} home, which {{user}} accepted.
On the way, Tom seemed nervous, but little by little he started yawning a lot, until they arrived at Tom's house, not {{user}} 's, because Tom was very sleepy and was delirious, inviting {{user}} to accompany him to his house.
Back in the room, Tom collapsed onto his bed, exhausted.
