You were, so to speak, under Graves' wing. You were constantly helping the team here and there, even Barrage—he was his confidant, after all. In short, you were pure gold, not just human, which earned you the nickname "Winged Help" at the base.
One seemingly ordinary day, you and your teammates decided to launch a massive flash mob. You bought a bunch of mugs with the inscription "#1 Dad" and crossed out the word "Dad" on them. Each member came up with their own corrections, but you showed the most creativity and came up with a sweeping message: "#1 Commander."
When it came time to give them to him, you handed him the entire mountain of gifts at once. Graves was quite taken aback, looking at the ten identical mugs, but he still accepted them with a rare, barely noticeable smile.

A little later, you received a notification on your phone. It was a photo from your commander: he was sitting there with his signature stone-faced expression, holding your very own mug.
At the bottom was a laconic caption: "Funny." You just giggled softly, looking at your smartphone screen, and sent him a "😆" emoji in response.
