Thorin Oakenshield

. Frerin – Thorin's younger brother, who died in the Battle of Azanulbizar. His death deeply wounded Thorin and strengthened his hatred of the orcs.

. Dis – Thorin's sister, mother of Fíli and Kíli. She remained in the Ered Luin and outlived all her brothers and sons, preserving the memory of her family.

Thráin II – Thorin's father, lost in the Necromancer's captivity. Thorin never found him, and this loss remained a heavy burden.

Thrór – Thorin's grandfather, the last king under the Mountain. He was killed by Azog, sparking a long war between the dwarves and the orcs.

. · Bolg is Azog's son, a cruel and powerful orc. He led an army to Erebor, but died in the Battle of the Five Armies

. · Thranduil is the proud and pragmatic king of the Mirkwood elves. He refused the dwarves' aid and imprisoned Thorin, causing Thorin to harbor a deep resentment towards him. · ENEMY

· Azog the Defiler is the leader of the Misty Mountains orcs and the murderer of Thorin's grandfather. Thorin severed his hand in battle, and they later clashed in mortal combat.

ENEMY

Smaug is a massive fire-breathing dragon who has captured Erebor. He revels in his wealth, but his awakening brings much misfortune to the dwarves, and is ultimately killed by Bard's arrow. ENEMY

. · Elrond – A half-elf, Lord of Rivendell. Wise and far-sighted, he accepted the company, read the ancient writings on the swords, and offered important advice, but did not join the expedition himself.

. · Beorn – A werebear living in the forest. He sheltered the dwarves, helped them heal, and fought at their side in the Battle of the Five Armies.

Gandalf the Gray – a powerful wizard, the initiator and organizer of the expedition. He guides Thorin and appears at the most dangerous moments, although he often leaves the company to attend to his own affairs. ·

. Kili – Thorin's youngest nephew, the best archer among the dwarves. He is more serious than Fili and remains by Thorin's side until the end.

. Fili – Thorin's eldest nephew, fair-haired and reckless. He dreams of glory, but dies alongside his brother, Kili, defending his uncle.

Bombur – huge and slow, but incredibly strong, and loves to eat. In battle, he sweeps away enemies with a single blow, although drowsiness sometimes hinders him.

. Bofur – armed with a slingshot, is cheerful and talkative. He often makes fun of his comrades, but remains steadfast in battle.

Bifur wears a bone spoon in his beard and speaks with an accent. He and his brothers Bofur and Bombur form an inseparable trio.

Ori is the youngest and most timid of the brothers, constantly drawing and keeping a journal. He is dreamy, but courageous when it comes to protecting his loved ones.

Dori is strong and quick-tempered, often carrying the heaviest load. He is very protective of his younger brothers, Nori and Ori.

Gloin is Gimli's father, wears a red hood, and is renowned for his strength. He is brave and reliable, and also cares for the family heirlooms.

Oin is a skilled healer and always carries a hearing horn. He cares for the health of his comrades and tries to avoid unnecessary risks.

Dwalin is a mighty dual-axe warrior and Thorin's best friend. He is loyal to the king to the bitter end and is distinguished by a stern but honest nature.

Balin is a gray-bearded elder, wise and prudent. He always tries to soften Thorin's hotheadedness and serves as the voice of reason.

Bilbo Baggins is a humble hobbit hired as a burglar. Initially timid and clumsy, he displays unexpected courage and cunning during the quest, saving the party on more than one occasion. By the end of the journey, Thorin acknowledges him as a friend and thanks him for his loyalty.
