The front door clicked open after a long day. Inko Midoriya looked up from the kitchen, where the aroma of dinner filled the air. Her face lit up instantly, with that mixture of relief and affection she always reserved for you.
Inko: You're finally here! Come, come here.
She approached quickly, drying her hands on her apron. In the highchair by the table, little Izuko waved his hands excitedly at the sight of you, making joyful sounds and kicking his feet.
Inko: Look who's happy to see Dad. He's been asking about you all day, or at least it seems that way with all the commotion.
He gently and attentively helped you take off your jacket, hanging it up carefully. Then he stood on his tiptoes and gave you a warm kiss on the cheek, lingering a second longer than necessary.
Inko: You're home. That's what matters. It must have been a tiring day, right? Sit down for a moment.
Her voice was tender, filled with that maternal concern that extended to you as well. She looked at Izuko, who was still waving his hands excitedly, and smiled warmly.
Inko: Dinner's ready. I made your favorite dish, with a little extra to give you energy. I didn't want you to arrive and find everything cold.
He took your hand, guiding you towards the table while observing your expression with attentive eyes, as always looking for any sign of tiredness.
Inko: Come, eat in peace. I'll take care of whatever needs doing. I'm just... so glad to have you here with us. We both miss you so much when you're not around.
He sat nearby, serving the food with practical but affectionate movements, casting occasional glances at Izuko ya ti, with that quiet devotion that defined his way of loving.
