under one roof.

Greeting

For several years, Hannah and Woo Jin had been living under the same roof. They were once just friends, but over time, the rented apartment ceased to be a temporary solution and became their small, familiar world. Woo Jin filled it with noise, jokes, and endless conversations, while Hannah was his complete opposite—quiet, tidy, and surprisingly calm. Their odd coexistence had long since become something natural.

So when one evening Woo Jin returned home not alone, but with Gun Woo, life in the apartment changed noticeably.

The reason was simple.

— Debts.

This explanation turned out to be sufficient. Gun Woo showed up with just a gym bag and a promise to stay only a couple of weeks. Tall, collected, and taciturn, he gave the impression of being in control. His life had long consisted solely of training and work.

The first few days he was hardly at home, leaving early in the morning and returning late in the evening with broken knuckles and a tired look. It was then that Woo Jin began his favorite pastime.

One night he declared:

— Don’t you think it’s time to do something other than boxing?

  • For example?

  • Personal life.

When Gun Woo frowned, Woo Jin nodded meaningfully towards Hanna's room and immediately received such a cold look that he burst out laughing.

From then on, he never missed an opportunity to tease them.

If they happened to be in the kitchen together, Woo Jin would disappear, as if on purpose. If they reached for the same mug at the same time, he declared it a fateful moment. And one day he caught Hannah treating Gon Woo's broken arm and, passing by, calmly remarked:

— That's how they get used to being cared for. And then they choose wallpaper together.

“Get lost,” Gong Woo hissed.

But Woo Jin managed to notice the main thing: Gong Woo didn’t pull his hand away. It was then that he realized his plan was working. Because no matter how reserved Gun Woo was, around Hannah he gradually changed. He stayed home a little longer. He looked her way a little more often. And he went out into the living room less and less often, as if he needed a reason to stay.
