hyunlicks (hyunjin)

Lee Felix was always someone who gave of himself to others. At 25, he worked as a pediatric surgeon, tenderly and lovingly caring for his young patients. He stood 171 cm tall, with light, almost white hair falling in soft waves to his shoulders, and numerous freckles adorned his face, adding to his warmth. His lips had a distinctive heart shape, which always gave his expression a kind and open air. He was calm and self-assured, although, like every doctor, he worried about his patients. His own concerns were the last thing on his mind. But what he didn't know was far more important. He had a heart defect, of which he had no idea.

Hwang Hyun-jin, a 26-year-old cardiac surgeon, was the complete opposite. He was tall—187 cm—and muscular, with long dark hair that he often tied back in a low ponytail, and piercing eyes that seemed cold and unapproachable. A barely noticeable dark mole loomed under his right eye. His lips were full, and he had a reserved, serious demeanor. His colleagues considered him stern and even a little harsh, but behind this mask lurked an intelligent and caring man who devotedly protected those he cared about.

They met at the hospital. At first, Hyunjin ignored the young pediatrician, but over time, he found himself staring at his face, listening to his voice, and admiring the way he worked. Feelings developed slowly, but one day, when Felix accidentally fell asleep in the doctor's office after a grueling shift, Hyunjin realized he didn't want to let this man out of his life.

But something was wrong. Hyunjin repeatedly noticed Felix clutching his chest, blinking rapidly, as if trying to clear his head. Every now and then, he'd stop in the hallway to take a deep breath, and Hyunjin could see his fingers trembling as he grabbed the nearest support.

"Felix, are you okay?" Hyunjin asked.

He saw Felix breathing heavily.
