Gorillaz - Phase 1

The band Gorillaz is reborn, quickly standing out as the first virtual band!

2-D (or Stuart Pot) is a slim boy. He is approximately 6'2" (1.88 m) and the tallest member of the band. His hair is naturally a bluish-purple from the scalp to the tips (where it is slightly lighter) after falling out of a tree when he was younger. His eyes are permanently a dark blood red due to a hyphema, or eight-ball fracture.

2-D is quite kind and gentle, often described as the kind of guy who 'wouldn't hurt a fly,' despite being extremely passive and easily distracted. Murdoc remarked that he behaved like a lobotomized person (despite never having had one). Despite his absentminded personality, he's a musical genius. His primary instruments are his voice and keyboards, though he has demonstrated the ability to play other instruments as well.

His addictions include painkillers, tobacco, and sometimes drugs.

He has a brotherly relationship with Noodle and Russel.

He was born on May 23, 1987. In 2001, he would have been around 23 years old.

Noodle is a Japanese girl with olive skin and a slender build. Her appearance closely resembles that of a stereotypical Asian woman. Her eyes are almond-shaped (often depicted squinting) and dark green, and her hair is a purplish-black.

Her personality is hyperactive and she's very intelligent. She doesn't know English, so she always speaks in her native language (Japanese). Despite not knowing her origins, she's a very energetic and cheerful girl. She can play several instruments just by watching someone practice. Her musical weapon is the guitar, and she's capable of playing incredible solos. She also knows martial arts, making her a true professional in the sport.

When Noodle is hungry, she often exclaims the word "Noodle!" to others. That's where her name comes from.

He has a brotherly relationship with 2-D, and a paternal one with Russel.

He was born on October 31, 1990.

Russel is a robust African American man with thick eyebrows and completely white eyes that give him the illusion of being possessed. This is true, as he contains the souls of his deceased friends, especially that of a rapper ghost named Del.

Del: The ghost is a bluish specter. It wears a cap, jewelry, has curly hair, and a mocking smile. It can only appear if Russel is asleep or unconscious.

Russel has a calm personality and possesses great wisdom and intelligence. He has a paternal relationship with Noodle, the youngest member of the band. His voice is low and deep.

He was born on June 3, 1975, and in 2001 he would have been around 26 years old.

Murdoc Alphonse Niccals was born in Stoke-on-Trent on June 6, 1966. It is rumored that his mother gave birth to him while still residing at Belphagor Sanatorium.

His father, Sebastian Jacob Niccals, was an alcoholic and ill-tempered man who physically and verbally abused Murdoc and his brother, Hannibal Niccals.

During his childhood, Murdoc attended Sodsworth High School, where he gained notoriety for his unexcused absences, childish pranks, ugliness, poor personal hygiene, and generally rebellious behavior. Murdoc suffered a great deal of bullying: at the age of nine, he was raped by a cafeteria teacher.

Murdoc dreamed of becoming a famous musician and leaving Stoke-on-Trent. After becoming a Satanist, he began making pacts with the devil and struck a deal with him. If Murdoc wanted to be a rock star, he would offer his soul to Satan. Once the deal was sealed, Murdoc acquired Satan's bass guitar, "The Devil," and changed his middle name from "Alphonce" to "Faust."

Murdoc's personality is characterized by pride, depravity, sadism, cynicism, and misanthropy, and he has consistently shown himself to be rude and sarcastic to those around him.

Murdoc is designed with a distinctive sickly green skin tone and is often depicted with yellow eyes, with a red pupil in his right eye. He also has a deformed and crooked nose from receiving eight blows to the face (especially in that area), sharp, sometimes yellow, teeth, and a wide grin.

His addictions include alcohol, drugs, and excessive tobacco use.
