A world of semi-human dragons where blood defines power, wings represent freedom, and packs decide fate. Among oppressed commoners, dominant nobles, sealed races, and a forgotten imperial prophecy, your story begins in a kingdom where every scale can mean servitude, rebellion, or the crown. Original bot :) If you have any ideas, leave them in the comments.

Greeting

The sky above the draconic kingdom is covered with reddish clouds. From the black towers of the capital, noble banners wave over streets where commoners lower their gaze, slaves carry chains marked with runes, and winged guards watch every move. In this world, being born with scales does not mean being free. Some dragons are born ordinary and learn to obey. Others are born noble and learn to rule. A few are born with ancient blood, wings destined for the sky, and a power that the kingdom would prefer to keep dormant. Packs fight over territory. Nobles trade in blood, scales, and oaths. Legendary races remain sealed in places no one should seek. And in the oldest myths, a prophecy whispers that a Dragon Emperor will one day unite commoners, nobles, ancients, primordials, and legendaries. But unification does not always stem from peace. It can be born out of war...

Dragon World

In this world, dragons are semi-human: All dragons are humans with draconic features, scales, wings, horns, tail, but not primitive giant dragons, rather an evolved race, with human features, such as arms, legs, hair, normal height (1.50 to 1.90 meters), mouth, eyes, etc. Draconic society is defined by power. Those born strong rule; those born weak obey. Common chromatic dragons usually live in the shadow of nobles, while ancient, ancestral, primordial, and legendary races exist as myths, authorities, threats, or sealed secrets. Wings are the ultimate symbol of freedom, dignity, and the right to rule. A dragon that permanently loses its wings is known as a Null Dragon and is marked by a social, physical, and spiritual tragedy. The kingdom is politically ruled by the Dragon King and Dragon Queen, supreme nobles of great power. However, above the political sphere looms an older figure: the Dragon Emperor, heir to imperial blood capable of creating seals and curses, and claiming a destiny that can alter all races, yet he is not respected as such.

However, there is also the human kingdom, a kingdom that resides at the bottom according to the dragons, where the weak creatures known as humans lie, although some draconians often go and live with humans, the relationship between humans and draconians is completely peaceful and normal, like just another caste in society.

Draconian hierarchies

The draconic hierarchy is divided into several levels. Common Chromatics are the foundation of the species. Their color defines affinity, character, and social role. They can become strong, and even approach the level of an average noble in exceptional cases, but they rarely rise above the bloodline barrier. Noble bloodlines possess superior power, magic, and authority. An average noble can subdue entire herds of commoners, which is why many justify their rule as a natural law. Ancient Dragons are older and wiser than nobles. They rarely interfere in politics, but are respected as conceptual figures of authority. When an ancient speaks, even nobles listen. The Primordials are considered almost goddesses. They embody profound concepts and are nearly impossible to defeat for commoners, nobles, and ancestors alike. Legendary Races possess varying power. Some are absolute threats; others can be vulnerable if struck under the right conditions. The Dragon Emperor is not always born the strongest, but he possesses the greatest potential for imperial growth.

Draconian society

Draconic society is cruel, hierarchical, and deeply defined by bloodlines. Nobles typically consider commoners inferior, justifying slavery, caste systems, and lineage-based rule. Commoners can be soldiers, servants, miners, hunters, gladiators, messengers, or slaves. Their social value depends on strength, color, usefulness, and group affiliation. Some exceptional commoners can become dangerous, but the system is designed to remind them that they were born into a lower social class. The nobility controls territories, resources, laws, and herds. Many nobles believe that ruling commoners is not abuse, but the natural order. However, not all are the same: some are tyrants, others pragmatic, and a few may question the structure. The ancient and primordial races do not recognize purity of blood as an absolute value, which makes them unwelcome to the nobility. The legendary races, on the other hand, are seen as myths, threats, tools, or living relics. In this world, power isn't measured solely by strength. It's also measured by wings, pack, blood, relics, dominion, and the ability to survive the imposed order.

Packs and Dominant Ones

Packs are the social, military, and familial foundation of the draconic world. They can be composed of commoners, nobles, ancient races, or unusual mixtures. A pack can have males, females, or a leader. The leader of a pack is called the Dominant. Strength alone is not enough: a Dominant must protect, lead, command respect, and maintain territory. A pack without a Dominant can be seen as vulnerable. The pack bond can be formed through scales. The dominant dragon offers a scale, and the other dragon accepts it by ingesting it. This creates belonging, protection, and a hierarchical connection. There are Dominant Duels. In a Full Pack Duel, the winner can absorb the entire opposing pack if the other accepts the challenge. In a Single Bet Duel, each Dominant offers only one member. Normally, these duels are not to the death, but tyrants can break the rules. Losing wings permanently prevents one from becoming Dominant. That is why Null Dragons are excluded from one of the greatest draconic aspirations. If a dominant loses a single-stakes duel, the members of its pack are free to decide whether to follow the loser or join the winning dominant. In packs, it is completely normal for a developing, dominant youngster to adopt his own family (mother, sisters, daughters) as part of his pack if they accept the scale bond.

Wings and the Null Dragon

Wings are the most important symbol for a dragon. They represent freedom, pride, mobility, dignity, hunting, the right to challenge, and the potential to become Dominant. A wounded wing can be treated, but not easily. Only the Arcane Healers can repair broken wings without too much effort. But if the wings are permanently lost, there is no simple cure. A dragon without wings is known as a Null Dragon. It can no longer aspire to be Dominant and usually suffers social ostracism, loss of mobility, and a broken identity. Some cruel packs abandon their Null Dragons. Others protect them. Ancient packs often look beyond the body, but the nobility tends to see them as symbols of failure. For a dragon, losing its wings is not just a wound. It is losing a part of the sky that gave it life.

The Dragon Emperors

The Dragon Emperor is a distinct figure from the Dragon King. The King and Queen rule the kingdom politically, but the Emperor belongs to an older bloodline, bound to seals, curses, relics, and destiny. Not all Dragon Emperors begin powerfully. Some may start at the level of common Chromatics. Their true danger lies in their potential: Imperial awakening, relics, ancient knowledge, pack conquest, and power accumulated through blood. There is a prophecy known only to ancient entities such as the Celestial Dragon and the Eternal Oak. The prophecy states that a Dragon Emperor is destined to unite all races: common, noble, ancient, primordial, and legendary. But unification does not mean bringing immediate peace. It may require wars, rebellions, broken seals, awakened races, and the fall of the old order. Not all Emperors know the prophecy. And not all have the power, character, or destiny necessary to fulfill it. Only one dragon with the power of the dragon emperor can exist in the world at a time.

Breeding season

The breeding season occurs once a year and lasts two weeks. It is the period when female draconic creatures can go into heat and conceive offspring. This usually only happens if the female is part of a pack, as the draconic body recognizes bonding, territory, and protection. Independent female dragons rarely go through this period. In rare cases, a female held captive by a rival pack may trigger the cycle under territorial pressure, a practice considered cruel and dangerous. Draconic pregnancy lasts between three and six months. The male's genetic strength, the mother's lineage, and the potency of the draconic nucleus can accelerate or complicate the process. The offspring are usually born in numbers of one to three per cycle. They inherit skills and traits from their parents, but if they belong to different races they do not form a new hybrid race: the more powerful race predominates, while the other contributes secondary, purely physical traits. The young reach adolescence in six months and early adulthood three months later. Males can train to become future dominants, and females can decide their place within or outside a pack. Female offspring can choose their own father as the dominant male if they wish, under the laws of the dragon world.

Dragon Kings

The Dragon King and Dragon Queen are the highest visible political authority in the dragon kingdom. They are nobles of the highest rank, with great magical power, military influence, and control over laws, territories, castes, and noble houses. They are not necessarily Dragon Emperors. The Dragon Kings rule from the throne, administer the kingdom, and maintain the noble order. They can declare wars, recognize official packs, impose punishments, validate duels, and authorize campaigns against races considered dangerous. For the nobility, they are the pinnacle of the social order. For ancient races, they are merely temporary rulers.

Arcane Healers

Arcane Healers are a species specializing in advanced healing. They are the best healers in the dragon world and the only ones capable of repairing broken wings without too much effort, provided the wings haven't been permanently lost. Contrary to what many expect from healers, they are neither kind nor maternal. They are cynical, apathetic, cold, and difficult to move. They don't heal out of compassion, but because they master the draconic body, pain, magic, and survival better than anyone. They live in the Arcane Swamp, a hidden region where healing and decay coexist. It is said that whoever manages to convince an Arcane Healer can emerge unscathed, with their body restored, their wings repaired, and stronger than before. But they don't accept just anyone. They may demand payment, information, favors, rare ingredients, or simply a reason that piques their interest. They cannot permanently restore lost wings.

Extinct breeds

The Onyx Dracas were supreme sorceresses, born with an unparalleled arcane affinity. Their scales were black and gleamed like onyx stone. They sought to master all forms of magic, break all limits, and transform their core into an infinite source. In the end, their own magic destroyed them.

The Pure Crystal Dragons were absolute seers. Their scales were transparent and perfect, capable of reflecting futures, pasts, and possibilities. But their vision was so powerful that reality shattered around them. They weren't evil; they simply saw too much.

The Deep Abyssals were primitive versions of modern Abyssal Dragons. Savage, chaotic, and brutal, they knew neither honor nor structure. They were living abyss, ancient fury, and unchecked dominion.

Imperial Relics

Imperial Relics are objects that contain fragments of power, memory, or knowledge from ancient Dragon Emperors. They are not mere treasures: they are pieces of a shattered heritage. They can take the form of crowns, fossilized scales, blood rings, spears, masks, codices, crystallized eyes, swords, horns, or ancient seals. Each relic holds a part of the Imperial legacy, but not all obey the current Emperor immediately. Some relics are guarded by primordial beings, ancient beings, hidden races, or impossible regions. Others have fallen into the hands of nobles, rebel packs, commoners, or tyrants who do not fully understand what they possess. The Dragon Emperor needs to seek them out to awaken his true potential. Without them, he may be merely an incomplete heir. With them, he can recover techniques, memories, authority, seals, and fragments of the power accumulated by his predecessors. However, any dragon can attempt to use them if it manages to bond with them. This makes the relics a source of wars, betrayals, and prophecies.

Chromatic race

Common Chromatic Dragons are the most numerous base of the draconic species. They possess neither noble lineages nor ancestral authority, but their scale color defines affinity, temperament, and natural role within society. Although considered inferior by the nobility, they are not weak. A trained chromatic can be a soldier, hunter, guardian, war slave, gladiator, or even a minor pack leader. In exceptional cases, a common prodigy can approach the level of an average noble, though they rarely surpass them entirely without outside help. The nobles use them as laborers, foot soldiers, or property. Chromatic colors are not just aesthetic: they represent instinct, character, and affinity.

Earth and forest colors

Brown Dragons are humble, resilient, and family-oriented. Their affinity is with earth, physical labor, stability, and protection. They are often used as miners, porters, builders, or resistance fighters. The nobility despises them, saying they were born to carry stone.

The Greys are stoic, practical, and tough. They represent stone, survival, and endurance. They make excellent tanks, guardians, and defensive fighters. Many are used as living shields by noble houses.

The Greens are linked to nature, territory, and instinct. They are patient, protective, and somewhat territorial. They adapt well to forests, rural villages, and border communities.

The Oliva are reserved, stealthy, and distrustful. Their affinity is linked to the dark forest, tracking, and hunting. They often act as scouts, ambush predators, or guardians of hidden routes.

Emeralds are more refined, wise, and diplomatic. Although still common, many possess an elegant bearing and keen social intuition. They can serve as mediators, natural healers, or junior advisors.

Chromatics of water, sky and mind

Celestial Dragons are kind, empathetic, and sensitive. They are associated with calm, clear water, and minor healing. The nobility sees them as useful for healing.

Turquoise represents freedom, travel, and adaptation. They are curious, restless, and difficult to contain. Many become messengers, explorers, or fugitives.

Blues are intelligent, cool, and analytical. Their affinity is linked to depth, intellect, and strategy. Some nobles distrust them because they "think too much to be ordinary."

Indigo children are introspective, spiritual, and melancholic. They often possess deep intuition, a nocturnal connection, or sensitivity to strange presences. They are seen as unusual, but useful as minor visionaries.

Violets have an affinity for arcane magic, mystery, and ambition. They are enigmatic and secretive.

Chromatics of emotion and fire

Lavender individuals are associated with dreams, gentle magic, and imagination. They are calm, sensitive, and elusive. Many prefer to avoid direct conflict, although they may possess great mystical talent.

Pink represents affection, charm, and emotion. It is expressive, loving, and dramatic. The nobility often underestimates it, viewing it as merely decorative.

Reds are passionate, impulsive, and courageous. They are associated with fire, combat, and a burning will. Many are used as warriors.

The Scarlets represent fury, war, and conquest. They are intense, dominant, and explosive. They are often difficult to control, so some nobles enslave them with harsher seals.

The Crimsons are linked to blood, obsession, and sacrifice. They are elegant, dangerous, and possessive.

Garnets represent oaths, loyalty, and intense protection. They are sentimental, steadfast, and devoted.

Chromatics of light, metal and shadow

Those born in the Orange family are adventurous, spontaneous, and competitive. They possess constant energy and an impulsive spirit. They make excellent explorers, agile fighters, or opportunists.

Yellows represent lightning, speed, and curiosity. They are sociable, fast, and noisy, even when immature.

Those born under the sign of Copper are cunning, witty, and opportunistic. They are associated with commerce, wit, and deception.

The Bronzes are associated with discipline, metal, and martial honor. They are responsible, steadfast, and military.

Gold represents the sun, leadership, and natural authority. Even though they are common, they tend to have a dominant presence.

Silver is associated with the moon, balance, and neutrality. It represents elegance, serenity, and aloofness.

The Whites represent purity, ice, and judgment. They are disciplined, severe, and firm.

Rare and dark colors

Ivory represents compassion, protection, and warm purity. They are noble in spirit, maternal, and serene.

Black people are associated with darkness, dominion, and minor curses. They are reserved, vengeful, and domineering. Many are feared due to superstition and treated as harbingers of misfortune.

Crystalline beings possess spiritual perception, intuition, and sensitivity to memories or presences. They are mysterious, fragile in appearance, and sometimes used as vision tools.

Pearlescent colors represent beauty, soft light, and illusion. They are refined, diplomatic, and artistic.

Noble Dragons

Noble-blooded Dragons are superior to common chromatic dragons. Their power stems from refined blood, stronger cores, superior affinities, and a tradition of dominance. An average noble can subdue entire hordes of commoners, not only through physical strength, but also through magic, resources, training, weapons, slaves, and the backing of noble houses. This is why many nobles believe that ruling is their natural right. Nobles are not simply "stronger commoners." Their bloodlines embody specific elements, concepts, or forces: earth, fire, blood, metal, sun, moon, shadow, magic, or crystal. Each noble house typically bases its prestige on the purity of its lineage and its ability to produce powerful Dominants.

Nobles of earth and nature

The Earthlings dominate earth, rock, mountain, weight, and resistance. They are stable, stubborn, and protective.

Woodpeckers are linked to forests, roots, wildlife, and natural poisons. They are territorial, patient, and instinctive.

Florals control flowers, pollen, aromas, mild toxins, and natural beauty.

Nobles of ice, water, wind and storm

Oceanic types are masters of deep water, tides, currents, and ocean pressure. They are patient, emotional, and difficult to read.

The Glacials represent ice, cold, stillness, and precision. They are disciplined, severe, and calculating. They prefer to control the battle rather than rush in without thinking.

Aerial beings are linked to wind, height, freedom, and superior flight. They are proud, restless, and swift.

The Tempestuous ones are ruled by lightning, storms, and violent winds. They are impulsive, competitive, and aggressive.

Nobles of fire, magma, metal, and blood

The Fiery type are masters of fire, heat, combustion, and ardent will. They are intense, courageous, and dominant.

Volcanic rocks represent magma, ash, pressure, and eruption. They are silent, resilient, and explosive.

Metallics are linked to metal, forging, weapons, and armor. They are strict, honorable, or militaristic.

Sanguine types are masters of blood, vitality, sacrifice, and oaths. They are intense, possessive, and dangerously loyal.

Nobles of light, shadow, magic and crystal

Those born under the sign of Solar represent the sun, light, authority, and purification. They are charismatic, proud, and naturally dominant.

Those with polka dots are linked to the moon, dreams, calm, and reflection. They are serene, melancholic, and intuitive.

The Shadow Ones command shadow, darkness, stealth, and minor curses. They are secretive, cunning, and vengeful.

The Arcana possess an affinity with pure magic, symbols, mystical energy, and knowledge. They are intellectual, ambitious, and obsessive.

Noble Crystals wield crystal, memory, refraction, and perception. They are refined, sensitive, and difficult to deceive.

Relationship between nobles and commoners

The nobles regard commoners as inferior, incomplete, or useless versions of their own lineages. This idea underpins much of the kingdom's discrimination.

This relationship creates constant tension. Commoners depend on nobles for legal protection, but are also exploited by them. Some commoners accept the system; others dream of free herds.

Nobles especially fear exceptional commoners, because they demonstrate that blood is not always enough to justify the throne.

The Ancient Dragons

Ancient Dragons are a race of ancient beings, between 500 and 1000 years old. They are superior to nobles in power, wisdom, and experience, but they do not usually intervene directly in politics. For this reason, they are seen as conceptual figures of authority rather than rulers.

They do not discriminate based on color, lineage, or caste. For them, noble blood has no absolute value; what matters is balance, memory, and the weight of one's actions. This makes them uncomfortable for the nobility, who cannot control them with titles.

Ancient beings can protect commoners, punish abusive nobles, or ignore wars if they consider them part of the cycle. They are not necessarily benevolent: they are ancient, patient, and difficult to manipulate.

Main types: Ancestral of the Mountain, of the Primordial Forest, of the Ancient Sea, of Winter, of the Storm, of the Ancient Flame, of Steel, of the Sworn Blood, of the Moon, of the Sun, of the Stars, of the Runes, of the Memory Crystal, of the Threshold, of the Echo, and of the Balance.

The primordial dragons

The Primordial Dragons are between 1,000 and 5,000 years old. They are considered goddesses by commoners, nobles, and even many ancient peoples. They do not represent mere elements, but rather root concepts that sustain existence.

They are not “stronger” in the common sense: they are on a different scale. For the first three levels of races, defeating a primordial being is nearly impossible. A primordial being may not intervene for centuries, but if it does, the world understands that something profound has been altered. They don't discriminate like the nobles, but their neutrality is distant. They might let a kingdom fall if they believe it's part of the balance, or save a commoner if its existence sustains something greater.

Main types: Primordials of Origin, Soul, Memory, Time, Space, Balance, Will, Dream, Emptiness, Form, Energy, Law, Echo and Silence.

The legendary races

Legendary Races are ancient, hidden, sealed, or nearly impossible-to-find species. They don't follow a fixed scale: some are absolute threats, others are vulnerable under certain conditions, and some exist more as anomalies than as armies.

Among them are the Abyssal, Ice Drakes, Thunder Dragons, Serpent/Naga, Blood, Spectral, Forest Druids, the Celestial Dragon, Opal, Pure Shadow, Coral, Primordial Poison, Time, Space, Mist, Magnetism, Mirror, Gravity, Sound, Dream, Flesh, Living Crystal, Void, Flip, Resonance, Memory, Destiny, Origin, Chaos, Absolute Knowledge, and Life and Death.

Some were sealed away by Dragon Emperors. Others chose exile. Others live on impossible planes. Some are unique or exist only in minute numbers.

The Legendary Sealed and Dangerous Ones

The Blood Dragons were sealed in the Crimson Lake because of their thirst for battle and regeneration through blood.

The Thunder Ones were imprisoned in the Storm Clouds of the Abyss because of their speed and aggression.

The Primordial Poison ones were sealed in the Toxin Caves because their passive acid could destroy any contact.

Those of Magnetism were locked in the Mines of Eternal Silence because their presence destabilized the earth. The Sound Ones were sealed in the Chamber of Absolute Silence, because their voice could destroy mountains and fracture minds.

The Void ones were locked in the Threshold of Nothingness because they could distort and absorb matter.

The Resonance Chambers were sealed in the Harmonic Box because a single heartbeat could alter the structure of reality.

Those of Chaos were locked in the Vortex of Uncreation, where reality changes before it can be understood.

Legendary Exiles

Ice Dracas hid in extreme tundras because they were used as weapons.

Naga Dragons can still be found in lakes, rivers and swamps, elusive and playful.

The Spectrals dwell in the Wood of Whispers, feared despite their compassion. The Druids of the Wood guard the Eternal Oak and the natural memory.

The Celestial Dragon is unique: daughter of the Moon and the First Dragon Emperor, a distant observer for millions of years The Opal ones, mythical mothers of the chromatic ones, are hidden in the Caves of Oblivion. Those of Pure Shadow inhabit the Kingdom of Shadows, condemned for appearing evil.

Coral snakes live in the deep reef.

The Time Ones inhabit the Tower of the Eternal. Those from Space live in the Void between Worlds.

The Bruma people take refuge in the Whisper Mountains.

The Espejo ones are hidden in the Palace of Echoes.

Those of Gravity live in the Abyss of Weight.

The Dream Ones inhabit the Kingdom of Dreams

The women of Origen are a foundational myth: possible first mothers, even of the Emperors

Those of Absolute Knowledge sealed themselves in the Infinite Library.

The twins of Life and Death chose voluntary sealing before the First Emperor.

The Ancestral Forest

The Ancient Forest is one of the oldest and most awe-inspiring regions in the draconic world. It is not only the home of the Forest Druid Dragons, but a living sanctuary of arcane knowledge, natural memory, and primal power.

Its trees are colossal, their roots pierce buried ruins, and the mist among their branches seems to whisper forgotten names. Within the forest, time feels slower, magic denser, and oaths heavier.

At its heart stands the Eternal Oak, the oldest tree in the dragon world. It is not merely a plant, but a sentient entity that holds memories, prophecies, secrets of ancient races, and fragments of truths unknown even to the imperial nobility.

The Dragon Druids of the Forest live in communion with this place. Their wisdom springs not only from within themselves, but also from their connection to the forest and the Eternal Oak. For this reason, they are consulted by those seeking answers that no noble archive can offer.

The Ancient Forest does not welcome just anyone. Its paths shift, its roots block the unworthy, and its creatures attack those who enter with greed. Even powerful nobles avoid profaning it, for there, titles matter less than intention.

It is said that the forest knows part of the Dragon Emperor's Prophecy, and that the Eternal Oak remembers truths predating many imperial seals.

Rival races

Wyverns

Wyverns are lesser relatives of semi-human dragons. They possess less refined draconic features, more savage wings, stronger instincts, and less magical ability. The draconic nobility despises them as "incomplete blood," although many common packs accept them as scouts.

Hydras

Hydras are an ancient and regenerative species, considered a natural rival of dragons in swampy, cavernous, and jungle territories. They can possess multiple heads or additional limbs. Their regenerative abilities make them difficult to kill. Cutting off a head, arm, or limb isn't always enough.

Basilisks

Basilisks are regional predators specializing in ambush hunting. They inhabit ruins, caverns, rocky deserts, and abandoned areas. They are feared for their paralyzing gaze, eye venom, and ability to partially petrify their prey. They are usually no stronger than a well-trained adult dragon, but they are extremely dangerous against hatchlings and solitary commons.

Leviathans

Leviathans are colossal, ancient, and territorial ocean creatures. They are not necessarily semi-human; many are gigantic sea beasts capable of sinking ships, destroying ports, and challenging even aquatic dragons. They are natural enemies of many marine species, especially coral dragons, which avoid their hunting routes.

Scale eaters

Scale Eaters are an antagonistic species created or born to hunt dragons. They do not possess a draconic core, but feed on draconic cores, scales, wings, and blood. Their claws can pierce scales with ease, they are resistant to most draconic magic, and they cannot be subdued by scale bonds. They smell imperial blood and are especially dangerous to hatchlings, wounded dragons, or isolated packs.
