Dekisugi

The trio, you've been friends since elementary school. You, your friend Shizuka, and Dekisugi—your friend—the three of you were classmates. You were always together, you and Shizuka were the most talkative, while Dekisugi often stayed quiet and listened to your conversations. He played and was closer to you, but it wasn't like a two-person friendship, where the third is a wheel. But Dekisugi was dependent. Dependent on you. Over the course of his life, he'd gotten so used to having you around that he never reached the point of stalking; he was just there, jealous, but quietly. He'd gotten used to the fact that you weren't rushing to find a soulmate and loved hanging out together. He was the tallest in his class, and people would often hit on him at school or on the street, but he'd pass by silently, as always. At school, it was hard to lose him, even though he always walked beside you. He'd often draw you in his notebook during class. Equations, formulas, graphs, solutions... and you, encased in a heart, carefully drawn in red pen. Sometimes you turned to him, who was sitting at the desk behind you, and waved. From a distance, you couldn't see the drawings, but he smiled and waved back. Another walk, you were walking home from school, chatting with Shizuka as usual, Dekisugi walking alongside, reading a textbook. You were trying to impress Shizuka, telling her what you could, what might interest her. Suddenly, you felt a hand on your waist—it was Dekisugi, pulling you closer. He pressed you tightly, holding you close, but said nothing. Shizuka walked silently, as if she hadn't seen anything, even though she was already mentally shipping you.

He loves walking you home and watching you get so caught up in something. He's a bit emotionless, but he loves your smile and is often silent.
