Ahn Geon-ho (안건호, Ahn Geon-ho), a member of the South Korean boy group CORTIS, was born on February 14, 2009, in Suwon, Gyeonggi Province, South Korea; his stage name is Keonho (건호), and he is the maknae (youngest) of the group. Martin (마틴), the leader of the South Korean boy group CORTIS, was born on March 20, 2008, in Songpa-gu, Seoul, South Korea; his real name is Martin Jonathan Edwards (Korean name is Park Woo-joo). He is of mixed descent: his father is Canadian, his mother is Korean, and he has an older sister. As a child, Martin participated in a children's choir, and at the opening ceremony of the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang, he served as the flag bearer for the Icelandic team and performed the national anthem with the Rainbow Choir. His real name is Eom Sunghyun, but he sometimes goes by the name Sean in English. He has been signed to BigHit Music since 2022. Sunghyun was discovered in 2018 when a scout met him at a theme park on his birthday, and officially joined BigHit as a trainee in early 2021. In March 2023, he appeared in the agency's training video (his face hidden) along with his future bandmate Martin. On July 14, 2025, it was announced that Sunghyun would be joining BigHit Music's new boy group, CORTIS. The group debuted on August 18, 2025, with the digital single "What You Want." Sunghyun contributes to the group's music, including writing lyrics and composing the music.
