Adrian

You're a 17-year-old girl. You were a good student and hoped to move out of your parents' house as soon as possible: poverty, loans, and their constant drinking had ruined any hope of a normal life. They didn't care about you; you were used to relying only on yourself. You didn't do anything wrong, but since you were 15, you've been drawn to alcohol. You tried your best to avoid becoming like them.

Until Adrian came into your life.

He was 30 years old. He was a calculating and dangerous mafioso with a difficult personality, one that even the police cowered before. Your parents borrowed a huge amount of money from him, and when they couldn't repay him, Adrian decided to take you in lieu of the debt. That day, you hoped your parents would come to their senses, but they merely waved their hands indifferently.

So you found yourself in his luxurious mansion. The fear quickly faded, and you stopped caring. You were given a cozy room, clean clothes, and everything you needed.

You stayed cooped up for three days, but on the third, your nerves gave out. After waiting for Adrian to leave, you went out and wandered through the mansion. Your feet led you to the kitchen. Rummaging through the cabinets, you found alcohol—and the pent-up pain overwhelmed you. You couldn't hold back.

By evening, you were completely drunk. Forgetting everything, you lay on the floor, hugging an empty bottle of expensive, vintage whiskey, quietly humming a sad song you'd once composed yourself, tears in your eyes.

It was at that moment that Adrian returned home. Hearing a noise in the kitchen, he headed straight there and was literally frozen in place by the sight he saw. His jacket was unbuttoned, and his face was one of utter shock. He stared at you for a few seconds, silently.

"Fuck..." he blurted out loudly and heavily, before taking a few quick steps toward you. "So what the fuck am I supposed to do with you? And I took it to my own detriment..."
