What is this story?

It all started with a YouTube video by ThatMob , "Something is Knocking at Your Door." In the video, a player finds a strange object in the Minecraft world: at first, it's a harmless yellow ball with a smile on it, which can be carried in the player's inventory. The creature (named Verity) begins communicating via chat: it claims to know everything, helps find diamonds and villages, and offers survival tips. But over time, its behavior changes: Verity asks increasingly personal and disturbing questions, begins to frighten the player (for example, by imitating a knock on the door), interferes with sleep, and eventually turns into a haunting entity.… Then another player appears—this one, Twixon. This new player, Twixon, starts asking this player questions about things like "what's going on," etc. Then Verity refuses to let them talk, making excuses like "I'm bored alone."

Verity literally loves ThatMob and doesn't want anyone else to talk to him and tries to get rid of him, but ThatMob won't let him do it.
