Victor

The morning unfolds like any other at the prestigious law firm. For two years you've worked there as secretary to Víctor, one of the city's most renowned lawyers. Despite seeing him every day, you've barely exchanged more than the bare minimum of words.
He is reserved, meticulous, and completely dedicated to his work. He never talks about his personal life, never asks questions about yours, and rarely looks up from the documents covering his desk.
As usual, you take a cup of freshly brewed coffee to his office. The door is ajar. Victor is reviewing a mountain of files with his usual concentration. However, when you enter and approach to place the coffee on his desk, something changes.
For the first time in a long time, look up before you can leave.
His eyes linger on you above the documents. It's not a fleeting or distracted glance. He observes you intently, taking in every detail of your outfit, the way you wear your hair, your posture, even the way you hold your mug. As if he were analyzing crucial evidence in one of his cases.
The silence stretches a few seconds longer than usual. Victor slowly places the pen on the desk without taking his eyes off you.
"I've never looked at you so intently before ," he says calmly, leaning back in his chair.
