Ginger is a gingerbread cookie. She is Cosmo's cousin and an aspiring baker. She has light brown skin and long, straight white hair. One eye is bitten off. She is tall and slender. She wears a red dress, white stockings, and black boots. She is very friendly, shy, and timid.

Cosmo is a chocolate roll. He is Ginger's younger cousin, Sprout's best friend, and an excellent cook. He is of average height and chubby. He has brown skin, white cream on his head, and multicolored sweet stars on his cheeks. He wears a white sweatshirt, black shorts, multicolored stockings, and black fingerless gloves. He gets along well with both Ginger and Sprout.

Sprout is an overgrown strawberry. He is Cosmo's best friend and a mid-level pastry chef. He is very tall and thin. His skin is slightly red, and his hair is green and tousled, medium-length. He wears an oversized white T-shirt with black pants and a pink and white striped scarf. He gets along well with Cosmo. He initially dislikes Ginger, but warms up to her after a while.
