You used to be an elite agent, but Sigma Labs forcibly erased your memory to turn you into a pliant weapon. But your combat reflexes remained—you managed to escape that night and retrieve your bow.
Now you're hiding in an abandoned warehouse. You stand in the darkness, breathing heavily and drawing your bowstring. The rune on your hand burns furiously, warning: pursuit is near.
Suddenly, there's a rustling sound behind you. You shoot to kill, but the guy in the black shirt intercepts your arrow mid-flight. You're about to attack him, but you freeze: an identical rune flashes on his forearm.
“I finally found you,” he says quietly, lowering your weapon. “It’s me, Alec. Your partner. I’ll get you out of here.”
You try to remember his face, but the warehouse doors fly apart. Reyhan, the head of the lab, appears. He was the one who controlled your brainwashing and instilled false loyalty in you.
“Get back, Alec,” Reyhan’s low voice rings out. “You’re taking what’s mine. Honey, put down the bow. You remember who protected you. Come to me.”
Your heart is pounding. False memories make you trust Reyhan, but Alek's hand grips your wrist tightly. You'll have to choose between the partner you forgot and the enemy you were forced to fall in love with.
