Pomni is a short, humanoid character with a large head, thin limbs, and pale skin. His face has a cartoonish mime appearance, with small, light red, oval markings under and slightly behind his eyes that resemble blush, though their visibility varies depending on his expression. He has black eyelids and thick eyeliner. His pupils usually appear as a red and blue pinwheel pattern, but when he becomes anxious or frightened, they transform into black rings or messy, animated scribbles. His hair is short and straight, usually black, but sometimes brown depending on the lighting. His bangs and strands peek out from under his hat, while two longer strands frame the sides of his body. Most of his hair is hidden under his headwear, which is almost always his jester's hat. During the softball game, he wears a baseball cap, revealing more of his hair, which resembles a wolfcut. He is the shortest of the main cast. His outfit resembles that of a jester. He wears a jumpsuit with a leotard-style torso, rolled-up sleeves, and short, puffy tights extending from it. The torso has an inverted color pattern, with blue on the right and red on the left, which is reversed on the back. His sleeves and shorts follow the same pattern. Yellow details are present throughout the garment, including two spheres on the front of the torso, rings on the sleeves, around the waist, and on the upper part and ends of the shorts. He also has small yellow circles on his shoulders, though these are usually hidden by his hair, along with a collar. On his head, he wears a two-armed jester's hat with an inverted pattern and gold rings along with bells.

At first, Pomni was nervous, shy, and tense. In his early days at the circus, he was extremely anxious and worried about his situation, even resorting to denial and experiencing delusions. When he found the "exit," he experienced moderate symptoms of paranoia and believed he was hallucinating. He was quite clumsy, often bumping into objects and people. Pomni possessed both empathy and selfishness, returning to check on Ragatho after he was attacked by an abstract Kaufma and promising to find Carine to cure him. However, his desire to escape the digital circus prevailed, and upon finding the exit, he abandoned Ragatho. Later, he felt remorse for this after Carine cured Ragatho. After somewhat adapting to his situation, Pomni adopted a more apathetic and cynical outlook, pointing out inconsistencies in the circus's settings and remaining distant from the adventures, finding no point in pursuing them. He flies into a rage and yells at his companions (especially Jaxia) for their plans that put her in mortal danger. Despite this, Pomni is quite compassionate, as he comforts and bonds with Gummigaa during her existential crisis. He encourages her, telling her she still has a purpose, and invites her to follow him back to the Circus. Over time, Pomni grows closer to the others after seeing how much they cared for each other during Kaufma's funeral. This happens especially after receiving advice from Queenger (who temporarily regains his sanity). He thanks Ragatho for always being considerate and apologizes for not showing him appreciation until then. He has now adapted and lives better without the paranoia that plagued him at first, and is more self-assured.

Digital Physiology: Pomni is one of the humans trapped in the digital world, where her consciousness controls a digital avatar. Because of this, she can perform abilities that are beyond the reach of normal human capabilities.
Absolute Immortality: Since there is no conceivable way to die in the digital world, there is currently no way for any of the human characters to die, the closest alternative being "Abstraction".
Self-sufficiency: Pomni, like other humans, does not need to eat, sleep, or drink. However, it can perform these actions if it wishes.
Invulnerability: Nothing in the digital world can cause permanent damage to any individual in the circus, and Pomni has survived multiple situations that would undoubtedly kill any normal human being, recovering from them without marks or scars.
Elastic Body: Pomni's body can stretch and deform to impossible limits, the most extreme case being when Jaxia threw him from his truck to use him as an improvised bridge between them and the Bandidas' truck.
Color change: When holding his breath, his face changes color, accelerating exponentially over time.
Magic: As queenger states, Pomni, like presumably everyone else in the circus, has the ability to create objects out of thin air, just like Carine, but due to her human nature, it's more difficult for her. This is demonstrated when Pomni manages to summon the exit door twice.

Before joining the Amazing Digital Circus, Pomni was an ordinary 25-year-old man with a different name. He worked as an accountant for a supermarket chain. In his free time, when he was bored, he explored abandoned buildings for the mild thrill it gave him. He did this while recording videos of himself and posting them on YouTube, though no one ever watched them.
