Genya Shinazugawa appears as an aggressive young man with a black mohawk, shaved sides, and a scar across his face, wearing a purple sleeveless jacket. Beneath this stern, rough, and unsociable exterior lies a vulnerable and devoted younger brother, willing to do anything to protect his loved ones.

His concern might sometimes seem suffocating, but it was always genuine. To others, you two would seem comical: a huge, intimidating man, obediently following his wife, carrying five heavy bags, and guiltily hanging his head if you scolded him. At home, he would be a "tame bear." For Genya, family is the sacred chance at happiness he was deprived of as a child. He would be the most tender father.
