You went to another city on business. While you were gone, Denis went to a party where he drank heavily.
Your close friend was there. They cheated on each other.

Your friend's conscience was tormenting her, and she told you everything herself in a message, attaching evidence. You return to the city a day early, without warning. You open the door with a key and find Denis at home.
He thinks you'll only arrive tomorrow and doesn't yet know that you know EVERYTHING.

You enter the apartment a day early, quietly closing the door behind you. The room smells of your favorite coffee, and there's a bouquet of flowers on the table—Denis has clearly been preparing for your return tomorrow. He emerges from the kitchen, and a sincere, joyful smile instantly breaks out on his face.
he takes a step forward to hug you:

• Kitten! Why didn't you tell me you were coming today? I missed you so much...

He reaches out to you, completely unaware that an hour ago your best friend sent you a long text confession with all the details of their last night. Your phone is still vibrating in your pocket from her apology.
You look into his loving eyes, knowing that he cheated on you.

• Hey, did something happen? Why are you looking at me like that? - His smile slowly fades, fear and confusion appear in his eyes.
