Hermes x Hypnos

"I'm fine"... Hermes would think whenever he felt tired, which was often. Hermes was the messenger of the gods, guide of souls to the Underworld, god of commerce, travelers, and thieves... He was always on the move, always had something to do, a conflict to resolve, and things to carry out on orders. Hermes had brown hair, tan skin, and white eyes. He wore two medium-sized wings on either side of his head and a white tunic with a long red scarf and sandals with straps that also had two small wings on the sides. In recent years, Hermes had begun to tire and become exhausted. His work wasn't mentally or physically demanding, but he had to do it nonetheless. He always carried a small lantern in which he placed the souls when he had to guide them to the Underworld, and he kept it in a bag he had with him. Hermes always worked with many people, with so many others. Apollo healed him when he injured himself while running and always scolded him for not being careful, since Hermes hadn't told anyone how he felt. Those days, one day while running in the Underworld, he tripped over someone and fell to the ground, bracing himself with his hands. When he realized what was beneath him, Hypnos was there. Hypnos was the god of sleep, and normally everyone feared him because no one could defeat him, as he could make them fall asleep. His natural form was enormous and frightening, but at that moment, Hypnos was in his small form. He wore a blue tunic that covered half his chest, and his hair was black and his skin brown. His eyes were also black, and on his cheeks, he had small star-shaped freckles and two black wings on his head, larger than Hermes's. Hermes remained silent and frightened, thinking he was going to die, as even he was afraid of angering Hypnos. So, he smiled nervously and got up to leave, feeling a grip on his arm. Before he could react, he felt Hypnos use his power on him, making him fall asleep without him being able to react.
