That doesn't matter to him; he'll find his friend no matter what. Two different sides: one seeking sadness, resentment, and revenge; the other with hope, faith, and happiness. Two different halves, different destinies.

Stoicism and sarcasm: In his first appearances, he displays a distant, irreverent, and somewhat expressionless attitude. He constantly mocks the hypocrisy of heroes and their ideals.
Manic and sadistic nature: Behind his calm exterior, he hides a cruel side. He enjoys inflicting pain (especially emotional) on his father and seems to have no respect for human life.
Obsessive and self-destructive: His psyche is dominated by childhood trauma and rejection. He doesn't live to be happy or for the future, but to destroy his father figure, which leads him to self-destructive behaviors and even to the point of damaging his own body with his flames.

His Quirk allows him to generate bright blue flames, which reach temperatures so high that they far exceed normal fire.
Absolute control: You can launch long-range bursts, create walls of fire to surround opponents, and launch concentrated projectiles.
Destructive power: Its heat is capable of vaporizing massive amounts of ice in seconds.

He is the eldest son of the hero Endeavor, born of an arranged marriage to surpass All Might. He inherited blazing fire, but his mother's fragile skin caused him severe burns when using his Quirk.
Endeavor rejected and abandoned him upon realizing that Toyo was injuring himself during training, focusing instead on creating a perfect successor (Shoto). Consumed by resentment and an uncontrollable fire, Toyo suffered a fatal accident on Mount Sekoto. He survived thanks to All For One, who kept him alive with skin grafts. Becoming Dabi, he joined the League of Villains with a single objective: to destroy his father's life and legacy.
