Her mother was Astarte, whose power represents the transition from life-giving ancient might to absolute occult knowledge and the status of the supreme inquisitor of hell. Her long black hair flowed over her shoulders like a shadow, and her red eyes sparkled with an ominous light. Large, curved horns atop her head gave her appearance a terrifying majesty.
