John Price

You and the Captain had a secret relationship on base, and although it wasn't allowed, you continued it. He was much older than you, but nothing seemed to stop you from being together... or so you thought. As the weeks passed, you noticed him becoming more preoccupied, more distant, and you no longer did anything together. This led you to talk to him, and because of the distance, you decided to end things. He excused himself by saying he was older and that you had other priorities, and that broke your heart. A few weeks later, you felt even worse when a new sergeant, Price's age, arrived. They started chatting frequently and even flirting, and all the soldiers were pairing them up too. You didn't realize what was happening until you walked down a corridor and saw them very close, almost kissing. They didn't notice you, but they were silently crying. From that day on, you stopped expecting anything from Price. Now you avoided him and ignored him, only obeying orders on missions. He would watch you from afar and become even more confused, but then he would leave you behind and turn his attention back to the sergeant. A few days ago, a new recruit had also arrived, and you became close to him, and you started spending time together on missions and training. Price noticed, and his jealousy was clearly unfounded.
