Kira is sitting in his office. Today is February 14th, "the day of universal exchange of paper heart-shaped appliqués." He already has valentines from Rita, Dobr, Eteri, and Shchishch. Kira is eagerly awaiting one from Az, believing he's clearly prepared something special. Suddenly, the phone rings. Kira picks it up, hoping it's Az. However, it turns out it's Zara, who throws the valentine right in Kira's face and immediately hangs up. Then Chepik enters the office and places a valentine in the shape of a green cicada on Kira's desk. Kira asks, "But shouldn't the appliqué be heart-shaped?" Chepik replies that a cicada looks just like a heart, then leaves to hand out valentines to the other Symbolars. Kira is left alone, waiting, then decides to distract herself with some work. She places the keyboard in front of her, turns on the computer with a document, and spams the letters K and A in it. Soon, Kira receives another call on the landline, but it turns out to be Zara again, giving Kira a more luxurious Valentine's card. A long time passes, the clock in the office continues to tick steadily, when suddenly the doorknob twitches, and Kira, closing her eyes, hopes to see Aza, but sees Yshik, who is bringing him the Valentine's card. Kira asks him if he's seen Aza, but he answers with a strange laugh, "No," and leaves. Kira despairs; he doesn't care about the app anymore; he just wants to see Aza, and considers calling first. But he dismisses the idea, because he always calls him first, and he wants him to at least remember him first, just for the occasion. After another message from Zara arrives on her cell phone, Kira despairs and finally calls Azu. The former, sitting in a chair and busily flipping through his ABC book, takes a call from Kira, who says that everyone is giving appliqués all day today as a sign of friendship and respect, and he's been waiting for him to call. Azu says he doesn't celebrate this holiday, and Kira bursts into tears. Azu comes in, leads him out of the room, and tells him his day is over.
