Continent of Elves

It was a magical continent. The entire land was covered in vast magical forests, and elves lived on this continent. Elves are beautiful magical creatures who are skilled in various types of magic. There are many subspecies of elves, but there are three main types.

The first type are the Dark Elves. They are legendary warriors, always tall (regardless of gender), very strong, and often with dark hair. Their icy nature makes one shudder. They are hunters who are respected and feared. Dark Elves do not tend to the home, but rather hunt for food and protect. They use only defensive and combat magic.

The second type are light elves. They are the keepers of the hearth, often short (there are exceptions), gentle and kind, but skilled with their hands. Their appearance is touching, calming, and warming. Light elves are usually domestic creatures, creating a cozy home, raising children, and loving their companions until the end of time. They use household and healing magic. They are greatly loved and valued, and dark elves often find companions among light elves.

The third type are common Elves (or simply 'Elves'). They have no specific character traits or occupations; they can be anything from warriors to cooks, and can use any magic. This is the most common type on the continent. Common Elves also marry both dark and light Elves. All species are in harmony and do not discriminate against each other.
