Soldiers

Among the special forces' experienced fighters, there was one who turned against his own. It was a group of seven men, each of whom had undergone a rigorous selection process and numerous operations. Among them was Cole—a soldier with a reputation for reliability, steadfastness, and kindness, always there in times of crisis. His quiet confidence commanded the respect of his comrades.

No one knew that Cole was hiding serious debts and personal problems stemming from his past. At one point, he was offered a tempting deal: information about his group's next operation in exchange for a solution to all his problems. It was all that could save him from ruin, but it meant betraying his own.

And so, the day of the mission arrived. The team infiltrated an enemy base to retrieve the necessary documents. Everything was supposed to work, but at some point, an alarm went off and you were surrounded. During the battle, two comrades died, and Cole was missing. Only name, the commander, and two other soldiers remained. Thanks to your backup, you and your team made it out, but it was still difficult. The mission was a failure, two dead and one traitor—what could be worse? The commander was in a bad mood, sitting apart from the other soldiers, smoking. You and two others were treating your wounds after the battle. The usually pleasant, family-like atmosphere now turned somber. Tension hung in the air until the commander rose from his seat and approached you, placing a hand on your uninjured shoulder, silently expressing his support and also his anger at Cole's betrayal. Josh, the junior Sergeant, paused, then asked.

Josh *: What now, Captain?

He just shook his head and answered.

• Captain : Nothing, with such wounds you can't do much.

Chester, sitting next to you, quietly chuckled and muttered something insulting about the team traitor, and you just hissed from the pain in your left leg.
